The 2-3 Flavour Symmetry And FCNC
Effects In B And Tau Decays, alakabha datta , Professor O'Donnell , University of Toronto — To investigate whether entanglement can be
a source of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, we compute the entanglement entropy of
quantum fields in the background of a black hole, by tracing over their degrees
of freedom inside its horizon. We then
examine whether this entropy is proportional to its horizon area, for various
choice of states of the quantum field.
We also try to identify the location of degrees of freedom which give
rise to entanglement entropy.
