I will discuss a new method of computing correlation functions in AdS, using the worldline formalism of bulk quantum field theory. This gives a new perturbative expansion for bulk QFT, complementary to the standard approach of Witten diagrams. It is motivated by recent work connecting bulk physics to the language of the dual CFT, giving a bulk dual of conformal blocks. In particular, in three dimensions it gives a bulk prescription for computing Virasoro conformal blocks.
