Quantum Faraday et al.

Building on the Hall effect, I will discuss our recent observation of “quantized Faraday rotation”, a result that was obtained collaboratively with Prof. Szkopek (McGill Electrical and Computer Engineering) and Prof. Reulet (Université de Sherbrooke). If time permits, I shall discuss Heisenberg-like (uncertain) progress for many other on-going projects, as well as some past results that occurred rather suddenly, well beyond the thermodynamic limit of experimental failure.
