Announcing...
A new series started on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 entitled Homer's
Physics 101. It features down-to-earth talks, geared towards your absolute
know-nothing whatsoever about physics, person (in other words for support
staff). This give us a chance to figure out what these guys do. So, if
you have a question about what a nebula is, or what do you mean by light years,
now is your chance to boldly go where no support staff has gone before.
As this is a lunch time seminar, pizza will be provided. So,
we need to know asap who would like to attend. (Profs, you can come but
please don't ask any hard questions). Our first guinea pig (oops,
lecturer) will be Andrew Cumming, who will bravely try to answer any
outer space questions we may have.
